Meet the Team
Danielle Caputo, M.S. CCC-SLP
Danielle is an ASHA certified speech and language pathologist with state licenses in New York and North Carolina. She graduated in 2015 from Hunter College with a Master of Science degree in Communication Sciences.
Danielle has experience working in public schools with children with various communication disorders. Additionally, she has worked extensively in early intervention with children 0-3 years old. She has treated students with expressive and receptive language delays, fluency disorders (stuttering), communication differences related to autism, and more. She co-launched Connect Speech and Language with her longtime friend and colleague Kate to serve individuals and communities via teletherapy. Danielle believes in providing personalized treatment for every client, sharing detailed yet easy to understand strategies for parents and children, and above all, effective and respectful care for families.
Danielle enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons. She enjoys cooking, baking, and watching movies with her family.

Kate Faulds, M.S. CCC-SLP
Kate is a North Carolina licensed and ASHA certified pediatric speech-language pathologist. She obtained her Master of Science in Communication Sciences from Hunter College and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Ohio State University.
Kate co-launched Connect Speech and Language in 2022 to provide high-quality, evidenced-based, and individually tailored speech and language therapy to families that would otherwise have difficulty accessing care. Her specialties include early language development, preschool and school age expressive and receptive language delays, articulation and phonological disorders, communication differences secondary to autism, childhood apraxia of speech, motor speech difficulties, voice disorders and fluency disorders. Kate also has extensive experience in parent training for early intervention and greatly enjoys equipping families with the tools they need to have successful communicators at home.
She lives in Asheville, North Carolina with her husband, son and two cats. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina!
